Momentarily Obsessed With...
1. yunkai dress Kudos to any of those who get that reference! This is where Mike thinks I belong when I have this dress on. I most certainly had to have it, but now I most certainly need to figure out where to wear it!
2. embroidered shirt I turn 29 and I'm all about loud patterns and embellishments! This would perfect for a girls night out ... perhaps a bachelorette party? I see a few of those in my future :)
3. pottery with personality Emily showed me the world of Atelier Stella a few months ago and I immediately fell in love with it. Useless bowls with wee faces in muted colors - including teal? If it weren't for the fact that she is always sold out, Emily and I would own too many of these cuties.
4. books I'm a huge fan of buying books I have no use for but are particularly interesting to look at...stems from that whole being a graphic designer thing, I think. Anyway, I could and would potentially use this book, but if we're being honest I'd use it for inspiration and not to fix a thing in our house. That's what parents are for :)
5. wondermade It doesn't even matter that everything on this site is sold out because I probably wouldn't ever have the need for flavored marshmallows. However, the branding and packaging is so darn cute that I would stalk this site until I could own a box of my own - just to have in the cabinet!

Momentarily Obsessed With...
Honestly, the thing I'm most obsessed with right now is felt flowers! But, I'm saving that for another day and time. These are a few things that have popped up on my Pinterest boards, that I be totally fine owning :)
1. peach dress I want to look like this everyday. Cute, classic and sporting amazing hair. Is that too much to ask for?
2. original flea While I wouldn't be taking my $500 bag to the flea market, I do absolutely love the shape, style and purpose of this beauty.
3. golden girls lego people This might be, handsdown, the best thing I've seen all month. Can I make special requests? Cheers, anyone?
4. colorblock wedges The shoes that will match every single outfit have arrived. Which means I could rid of all my other heels and just wear these every day from now on. Yeah, probably not.

Momentarily Obsessed With...
After my almost-month hiatus, I decided to come back with September's Momentarily Obsessed With... I have a high percentage of rings that I'm obsessed with this month, sorry, no significance to report :) I'm looking forward to Fall and all the lovely things that come with the season, the series finale of Breaking Bad and pumpkin beers in the fridge. Plus the following:
1. triangle diamond ring Simply stunning. I'm usually not a huge fan the three stones, but the setting and style of this scream to me.
2. diamond message card It's paper, it's a ring, and most importantly it's an old school honey comb, which my grandma had in every decoration imaginable! These fun cards come in a box and can be a present in itself, or attached to gifts at the tag. Precious.
3. morganite ring Morganite is a form of beryl (like emerals and aquamarine), but in peachy, pink and violet hues. I love the chunky feel of the ring overall, but the pretty softness of the gem makes it perfectly girly.
4. cheetah flats I've never been an animal print kind of girl. I had a see-through plastic cheetah purse in sixth grade (stop your snickering, it was totally cool!), and that's pretty much my extent of the exotic prints. Although, I've been recently digging the brown cheetah look and on shoes...why not?
5. cardigan This happens to me all the time. I see an article of clothing at the store and think "Hmm, that's kinda cute." For whatever reason I talk myself out of buying it, then two days later I see someone wearing it like a rockstar and I'm panicking to find one. Mustard Yellow Cardigan, case in point.
6. pumpkin cake I pinned the very second I saw it. Delicious and adorable (my two favorite things), but I was lacking in the bundt pan department. Until last weekend. I stopped at a random church sale in my neighborhood and found one for 75 cents! Pumpkin cake, here we come!

Momentarily Obsessed With...
1. vintage milk bottles. Why would I need these? There's no real reason, other than they are adorable and one day, maybe, I'll have a party where these would just be the perfect fit in the decor.
2. felt pennant. I know I've said it before, but this really is a must-make for Fairview Place. I mean it's calling my name. Not many of you will remember, but once upon a time, I used to make pillows for friends with their names on them (sometimes incorrectly, whatever). So this is perfect! Think of all the custom orders I could do...!
3. key tags. This reminds me of going to the Elk's pool everyday of every Summer from age 8 to 14. We had tags similar to this inscribed with out member number, it was like our golden ticket to our Summer break. Now it kind of makes me think of a seedy hotel. Either way, I'm digging it.
4. ohio tote. Because I will never not love anything that says Ohio on it.
5. mismatched prints. It's been cold for almost two weeks, so I'm already thinking up cute Autumn outfits. This makes the must-do list.

Momentarily Obsessed With...
1. most amazing bedroom ever. If our guest room could look like this (plus yellow walls), I would be the happiest girl alive. Okay, I probably do not need three rugs on the floor and four blankets on the bed....But there is something about all the textures, the patterns, the colors, and especially the ikat print I can't get out of my head. It's probably a good thing the store is out of Australia and I can't afford shipping prices :)
2. cath kidston upgrade. As I mentioned a few days ago I've been using [fake] Cath Kidston purse since I was in Thailand. However, it's held up amazingly! This one is a little summery, but it would be a nice change of pace from the brown one I have now.
3. measuring tape bangle. I need more jewelry like a hole in my head, but I've never seen anything like this! I can't find where to buy the original piece, but Etsy has some alternative options that are just as unique.
4. simone shubuck. Since you can't see the artwork on my dream room (above), I picked this one to go with it. I was contemplating creating something like this myself with my collection of fabric and vintage papers. Maybe a good winter project?
5. ohio home t. Kudos to this couple who started The Home T out of their one-bedroom apartment in New York City. Just one of those "Why didn't I think of that" moments...

Momentarily Obsessed With...
1) quotes in pretty fonts. Why? Because it's super easy artwork on a super small budget. Also because I love quotes and typography.
2) maps made into shapes. Not into couple-y thing at the bottom, but it'd be a nice way to use that stack of old maps I have piling up in a box somewhere. And the loads of frames piling up in a different box somewhere...
3) mix and match summer outfits. It's super trendy to mix and match patterns right now. I wasn't really into it, until I saw this ensemble. Sign me up, I'm officially into it.
4) mix and match planters. Working toward this idea for our backyard. So far, I'm at three.
5) opal and diamonds. I am just enamored with this! There is a five-year anniversary coming up very soon...wink, wink!

Momentarily Obsessed With...
1) salad spinner. I have wanted one of these ever since I lived with Emily and she found one at P*Town Thrift for $3. Since my kitchen is a quarter of the size now it was then, a collapsible version is exactly what I need!
2) wall art calendar. Do you know how many times I've set out to make myself a cute calendar, planner or journal? I've lost count. Next time around, I'm just ordering something adorable like this.
3) letter sparklers. My sister and cousins probably went through 28 pounds of sparklers growing up. Every family event we were always lighting them (then anything else that would take a flame), but perhaps these would have kept us occupied longer. They would also be an adorable way to showcase an address of a new home...
4) pillow. Maple and Belmont started making these pillows around the time of Better Block. I absolutely love the look and was just telling Mike we need some new pillows for our couch. What about an Alliance, Ohio version?? Yes, Please!

Momentarily Obsessed With...
1) frank's red hot. I feel like a pregnant woman because of the cravings I've been having for Frank's. I have never gone through so much hot sauce in my life! I seriously determine what I'm going to make for dinner based on if I can pour a little (or a lot) of Frank's on it. Honestly, I'm not ashamed. And, this might not be a momentary kind of thing...
2) hop notch IPA. I've also been craving some tasty beers this month. I ran down to the Shady Grove just before sitting down to write this entry and picked up a six-pack of this IPA. It certainly packs a punch at 7.3% alcohol! The beverage is also pretty yummy. I'll try to keep to just one during this post :)
3) downton abbey. Thanks to my boss and a very convincing NPR article I started watching Downton Abbey last month. The first season started a tad slow, but by episode 3 I was hooked. The second season I was able to borrow from a friend (first season courtesy of Netflix), but I finally caved and bought the third season. I can't wait to find out how the wedding goes....! Eeek!
4) house key holder. Probably be needing one of these very soon.... I've always had a thing for antique keys, and of course, nothing is better than that teal color!
5) leather wrap. What a trendy way to carry all your electronic cords when traveling! Mine all end up in a zipper pouch and get into a tangled mess. I'm not sure when my next trip will be, but this will be on a must-have list.

Momentairly Obsessed With...
retro spring dress. I'm absolutely dying for Spring over here. I'm over tights and scarves and the bitter cold mornings. I just want to slip on a sundress and get my bare legs under those warm rays. Until I can do that, this dress takes me to that place.
wraparound watch. Yeah, I know, I already have a gold watch. But, let's be real, one just isn't enough. And I bet this would fit perfectly in one of those little plastic Easter eggs. I wouldn't even ask for multiple eggs, just one!
JT's 20/20 experience. Mike was the most awesome boyfriend to surprise me with this CD earlier this month. Not gonna lie, it contains some baby-making music...but also some excellent Motown-style jams and I just can't get enough of!
illustrated coffee cups. Aren't these cups killer? I am fantasizing about all the different designs I could create to cover to-go coffee cups...Wouldn't that be a super cute idea for cups at a wedding hot chocolate bar? Obviously I'm getting a little ahead of myself here. Also, check out this blog in general, great inspiration and beautiful design with every post!
cadbury mini eggs. I have a love/hate relationship with these little sweets. I love them to death and hate that I can't stop after 3 (or 4, or 7). It's really the only Easter candy I can't live without (and does anyone find it a little disturbing to know that Cadbury is owned by Hersey?).
bling band. I think there comes a time when you deserve to treat yourself to something very pretty and extra nice. And I think this ring could do the trick! Super cute and dainty, if there ever comes a day when I actually have a real wedding ring, it would stack nicely. Okay, so two eggs in the Easter basket, the watch and this :)

1. www.lulus.com I absolutely need this dress in my wardrobe. Although, I have no idea why I really love it that much. The whole mesh part really isn't me. At all. But the open back and sharp angles of the dress just make me want to buy it a throw a party just to have an excuse to wear it. Oh, and goes for most of the dresses on this web site. That's a lot of parties...
2. whales As an avid lover of Goldfish, I was a little leary about trying these Whales I found at the Dollar Tree. Now, I'm a total believer. And I have been making my case for Whales for quite some time now. They are cheesier, saltier and crunchier than Goldfish (and cheaper since you can buy them at the $1 store :).
4. cleveland clothing co. How can you not love this shirt? Especially with St. Patrick's Day right around the corner! The Cleveland Clothing Co. makes the best Ohio garb I have seen yet and it's all printed on American Apparel shirts. If you're an Ohioan like me, be double sure to look through their shop - and blog - for some really unique gift ideas.

1. weddingpaperdivas.com I've been give the job of designing a dear friend's wedding invitations...which I'm SO SO VERY excited to do. Not only because he's a close friend and the bride-and-groom-to-be are such amazing people, but they are fun, down-to-earth, creative people who will have some excitement and twist when coming up with their invites. Wedding Paper Divas has already given me some great inspiration for the job at hand, and (hopefully) many more to come!
2. Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Coast Trail My sister Adrienne gave me this book for Christmas and said it was the one book I had to read this year (one book, because I really only read about one full book per year). When a book can make you sob like a baby from page 2, I'm pretty impressed. This memoir of a 26-year-old woman hiking the PCT stirs up so many emotions (in a good way) and I have loved every second of it...and second to come!
3. grey nail polish Not silver, not sparkly, just matte grey nail polish. I loved the idea when I saw it on Pinterest. I loved it when I found a bottle for $1 at the Dollar Tree. And I love it on my nails.
4. mackelmore & ryan lewis Their latest song is my anthem. You really have to give it a listen a few times to get all the lyrics, but it's hilarious - and so true. Adrienne and I decided we had to learn every word to this song so we could rap the entire time of our next thrift shop visit. I spent some time checking out their other music and it's pretty good as well. Not to mention, they're two cuties!
5. st. ives face moisturizer Now that I'm approaching my Late 20s I finally made the decision to invest in some skin care. After a few attempts at crappy and expensive face moisturizers I found this one in my mother's bathroom cabinet, tried it and loved it (no wonder she looks so young!). Hopefully I'll keep this 27-year-old Ashley face forever!
